Emergency Numbers

Below there are emergency telephone numbers: to Police, Fire brigade and rescue, as well as list of hospital and 24h drugstores open in our Region to ensure safety in unforeseen situations.

Homogenous Europe-wide emergency number used in land and mobile networks in the European Union and worldwide is 112. 

(In order to dial 112 you do not have to unlock the telephone pad. Number 112 can be dialled without SIM card. In the future dialling 112 from any phone will result in connection with the Emergency Response Centre.

In order not to block the 112 number used for rescue and not to report mugging, in Poland the following emergency numbers are still active e.g.
997 - Police,
998 - fire brigade,
999 - rescue,
984 - water police,
985 - sea and mountain rescue,
986 - municipal police,
991 - electricity emergency,
992 - gas emergency,
993 - heating emergency,
994 - water emergency
